What the Critics Say

“Today's Grand Wagoneer is a full-size three-row SUV that combines a high-end experience with Jeep capability. Its smooth powertrain features a muscular inline-six that offers great on-road quickness relative to the Jeep's closest big SUV competitors. In the corners, it feels reasonably surefooted for throwing around so much weight.” — MotorTrend “If you're shopping for a large SUV, you probably want lots of space. The Grand Wagoneer obliges with ample amounts in all three rows, particularly when it comes to third-row headroom. Adults should be fine in any row. The air suspension can be set to lower automatically when you're parked to ease getting in and out.” — Edmunds

What’s New For 2024

There are a handful of key changes to the Grand Wagoneer for the 2024 model year. In terms of performance, last year’s 6.4-liter HEMI V8 has been discontinued. This means all Grand Wagoneers now come standard with the previously optional 3.0L Hurricane Twin-Turbo I6 engine. Elsewhere in the lineup, the Series II trim level has been discontinued and reduces the number of trim levels down from 5 to only 4 for 2024.

Grand Wagoneer Features

Robust Performance

No matter how unforgettable the adventure is, it’s always reassuring to know you’ve got the performance and strength you need to get back home at the end of the day. Every Grand Wagoneer is powered by a standard 510-horsepower Hurricane Twin-Turbo I6 that delivers a combination of muscle and efficiency. Thanks to this robust powertrain, the Grand Wagoneer offers an available best-in-class maximum towing capacity of up to 9,800 pounds. Additional performance amenities found on the Grand Wagoneer include an available Quadra-Drive® II 4×4 system, Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System, and Active Two-Speed Transfer Case with Selec-Speed® Control. Responsible for providing a remarkably smooth ride across all types of road surface conditions, the available Quadra-Lift® Air Suspension is responsible for absorbing imperfections in the terrain without jeopardizing its proven off-road capabilities. Following the same traditions as its predecessor, the latest Grand Wagoneer certainly measures up to its namesake.

Impeccable Interior

Thoughtfully designed to exceed the expectations of even the most discerning buyers, the interior of the Grand Wagoneer is expertly appointed with world-class materials and upscale comfort features for all occupants to enjoy. Infused with quintessential American craftsmanship, the Grand Wagoneer is available with stunning genuine handcrafted Satin American Walnut Wood featuring a finish that’s as durable as it is eye-catching. Series III models are available with supple Palermo leather-trimmed upholstery featuring a quilted stitch pattern and climate-controlled temperature adjustments. Included as standard, second-row captain’s chairs play an important role in helping rear-seat passengers relax and unwind as well. You can even experience its class-exclusive optional touchpad-controlled safe for additional secure storage underneath the front split armrest. Shoppers can also step up to a cooled storage compartment that keeps their favorite beverages chilled during the journey inside the Grand Wagoneer.

Revolutionary Technology

Connectivity and technological breakthroughs, two essential components of an authentic luxury experience, are also priorities inside the Grand Wagoneer. It begins with the most current iteration of the proven Uconnect 5 system that features a stunning 12-inch digital touchscreen display along with customizable menu structures and intuitive ways to interact with your favorite infotainment amenities. Other key perks of the system include a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot to connect up to eight wireless devices, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and over-the-air (OTA) updates. Painstakingly crafted to maximize the acoustics of the Grand Wagoneer, the optional McIntosh MX1375 Reference Entertainment System includes 23 individually tuned speakers and revolutionary 3D Adaptive Sound Processing for an unparalleled listening experience. Along with more than 120 safety and security features, the Grand Wagoneer is also offered with cutting-edge technologies such as Hands-Free Active Driving Assist along with Night Vision with Pedestrian and Animal Detection.
