Uconnect Overview
As vehicles become more advanced, infotainment systems have evolved beyond simple radios and oil change reminder lights. Today’s infotainment systems come with a huge variety of features, but every manufacturer takes a different approach to how these systems look and feel. The Uconnect® system developed for all of the Stellantis brands is a standout in this field, combining a long list of features with a user-friendly and intuitive interface. We put together this guide to Uconnect® to show just how useful this system is.
What Is Uconnect®?
Even with infotainment systems becoming so essential to vehicles, they are often overlooked or seen as all being basically the same when shopping. Uconnect® has earned extensive praise from the automotive press since its introduction, and it continues to evolve over its multiple generations. Uconnect® has all of the features that you expect, controls for the stereo, navigation, climate control and other vehicle settings, and both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. But there is even more to Uconnect® than most people realize, and the best way to explain them is probably just to list the different packages offered. There is a certain amount of overlap in these, and some packages are just combinations of other packages, this being a way of letting you only pay for features that you need, and ensuring that you get a good price on those features.

4G LTE WI-FI® HOTSPOT
- Activate your built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi® Hotspot trial and connect up to eight devices in or outside your vehicle.

Activating Uconnect® Connected Services
There are several different ways to activate the connected services in your vehicle. This first is to have us do it when you buy your vehicle. This is especially convenient, and it lets you access the features from the second you get the keys to your new vehicle. But if you didn’t get your vehicle from us, you can always activate Uconnect® from the vehicle itself, either through the touchscreen menu or by pressing the Assistance button and talking to a representative. Lastly, you can go to the Mopar website (https://www.mopar.com/en-us.html) and sign up. It’s a good idea to bookmark that site whether you use it to sign up or not, as it’s where you can access everything related to your account.
