About The Chrysler Voyager

Think of the Chrysler Voyager as an automotive greatest hits album. Chrysler has always been the authority when it comes to minivans, and the Voyager combines all of the most-loved features of this vehicle type in one place, and with a very appealing starting price. The Voyager obviously borrows heavily from the Pacifica, including the standard V6 engine, but features like the standard Stow 'n Go® seats date from earlier models and were such a huge hit that they became a staple of Chrysler minivans. The Voyager is built for practicality, with massive interior space, as well as all sorts of storage compartments. This practicality includes all sorts of advanced technology as well, with standard driver aids and infotainment features that you often don’t find as standard on much more expensive vehicles.

What The Critics Say

“Designed with families in mind, the Voyager comes standard with Stow ’n Go seating; the second- and third-row seats can fold flat into the floor. Transforming the Voyager from a passenger van to a cargo van is nearly effortless, without having to remove heavy seats and find a spot for them in the garage. Stow ’n Go is our favorite feature that’s unique to Chrysler. No other brand sells a minivan with fold-flat second-row seats.” - Kelley Blue Book “The Chrysler Voyager returns to the minivan market for 2025 as a budget-friendly alternative to the more luxurious Pacifica. With ample space, solid performance and a practical feature set, it’s an excellent choice for families seeking value without compromising on essentials.” - US News

What’s New For 2025

The Voyager was discontinued after 2022, but has returned for 2025. All of the major features, including styling and the drivetrain, are unchanged since the last time the Voyager was offered, but there have been some very nice tech upgrades, including a bigger infotainment touchscreen, blind spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control.

Chrysler Voyager Features

Chrysler Voyager Interior

Well-Equipped

The idea behind the Voyager is to give you everything you need in a minivan as standard equipment, thus streamlining production to keep the price budget-friendly. Under the hood, you’ll find Chrysler’s tried and true Pentastar® V6 engine, which produces 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, with smooth power delivery and plenty of pep. This is mated to an advanced 9-speed automatic transmission, and the combination is robust enough that the Voyager has a towing capacity of 3,600 pounds. The front seats are heated, as is the steering wheel, and there is three-zone automatic climate control. It comes with heated exterior mirrors, as well as automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers, all features that seriously stand out in this price range.

Chrysler Voyager

Endlessly Practical

Chrysler became the minivan leader by building the most undeniably practical vehicles on the road. The Voyager continues this tradition, with a massive passenger volume of 165 cubic feet, more than enough to seat 7 adults comfortably. And if you need to bring a bunch of cargo instead, the seats fold down to give you 140 cubic feet of cargo space behind the front seats. Converting the Voyager from passenger to cargo use is a breeze too, thanks to the standard 2nd and 3rd row Stow 'n Go® seats with Easy-Tilt. Thanks to the large storage compartments in the floor, you can also carry cargo easily with the seats still up. There are automatic power-sliding doors and a power tailgate, to make loading or unloading easy, whether it’s people or cargo.

Chrysler Voyager Infotainment

Advanced Technology

As a lower-priced alternative to competing minivans, you might not expect the Voyager to include much in the way of high-tech features. But, it actually comes with quite a few that are often be an additional cost on any of those competitors. That includes features like Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, ParkSense® Rear Park-Assist with Stop, ParkView® Rear Back-Up Camera, Lane-Departure Warning Plus, and a Remote Start System. The Voyager comes with a 6-speaker stereo, and there is a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen running Uconnect® 5, Chrysler’s latest infotainment operating system. Apple CarPlay® and Google Android Auto™ are included with this system, making it easy to stream music or use a navigation app.
