About the Wagoneer

There are other large three-row SUVs out there but the only one that’s a Jeep is the Wagoneer. The Wagoneer pairs a roomy and comfortable interior with some serious capability, both on and off the road. The interior seats up to 8, or 7 with the available 2nd-row captain’s chairs. Cargo space in three-row SUVs is often unimpressive but the Wagoneer offers an impressive amount, especially if you opt for the long-wheelbase Wagoneer L. If that’s still not enough space, the 10,000-pound towing capacity of the Wagoneer makes it a class leader. Since we’re talking about a Jeep, you also get the kind of off-road capability that other manufacturers don’t even attempt. With a standard Hurricane twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine, the Wagoneer has the power to make it all look easy too. Cutting-edge technology puts the Wagoneer even further out in front of the competition. Whether you’re talking about comfort, towing, or off-roading – the Wagoneer has the tech to impress and deliver an experience above all the rest.

What the Critics Say

“At the same time, the Wagoneer impresses on the road. It’s quiet and comfortable, and the controls all operate with satisfying precision. At 70 mph, it feels like you’re going about 50. Wind noise is practically nonexistent, even with the large rear view mirrors.” — Kelley Blue Book “Jeep has crafted increasingly posh interiors for its SUV models in recent years, and the all-new Wagoneer is no exception. The cabin is bank-vault quiet, elegantly styled, and trimmed with mostly high-end materials. Padded leather surfaces and soft-touch plastic are in abundant supply, though glossy hard plastic can also be found. Overall, it’s easily among the best interiors in this class.” — U.S. News & World Report

What’s New For 2025

Only small changes have been made to the proven Wagoneer for the 2025 model year. Previously optional on select trims, power-folding exterior side mirrors are now offered on all Wagoneer models for 2025. Base trims receive larger 20-inch alloy wheels as standard, an improvement from last year’s 18-inch wheel set. Rounding out the list of updates, both lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control are two additional features now standard across the entire Wagoneer trim range.

Wagoneer Features

Wagoneer Performance

Powerful Performance

Depending on what you plan on using your Wagoneer for, Jeep has a configuration that will make it easy. Standard on all trims is the 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo I6 which produces 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard but 4WD is available on any trim for enhanced capability. Thanks to a Trac-Lok® Anti-Spin Rear Differential, RWD models are plenty capable but add the 4WD and Selec-Terrain® Management System and the Wagoneer becomes a top-tier off-roader. There is no shortage of capability on the road either with a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds. The Wagoneer out-tows competing large SUVs like the Chevrolet Tahoe and the GMC Yukon by a significant margin.

Wagoneer Interior

Luxurious Interior

For all of its capability, the spacious interior is what the Wagoneer is built to offer. Not only is there room to stretch out, but Jeep has made the Wagoneer much more than some utilitarian people hauler. Capri leather upholstery is standard and if you prefer Nappa leather, that’s available as well. Heated and ventilated front seats are standard as is a heated steering wheel. Even back-seat passengers can enjoy heated seats on select trim levels. You get a name-brand stereo as standard equipment, a 9-speaker Alpine system. For the audiophiles, there is a 19-speaker McIntosh® MX950 Entertainment System that really takes the audio experience to a whole new level. Lots of bigger vehicles will offer dual-panel sunroofs but the Wagoneer takes it a step further with a Tri-Pane Panoramic Sunroof so that everybody can enjoy some natural light. 3-Zone Climate Control is standard and charging ports throughout the cabin make sure everyone can keep their devices charged.

Wagoneer Technology

Groundbreaking Technology

In all areas, the Wagoneer uses advanced technology to make things easier and more comfortable. The Selec-Terrain® System, with a choice of a Single-Speed On-Demand Transfer Case or a 2-speed version, delivers advanced 4WD that gives the Wagoneer the kind of off-road handling that people used to think wasn’t possible in a larger SUV. The available Quadra-Lift® Air Suspension lets you lift the entire vehicle for up to 3.6 inches of extra ground clearance in especially tough conditions. Inside, you’ll find a Uconnect® 5 system with a large 10.1-inch touchscreen. This latest infotainment software is fast, looks great, and is compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additional 10.1-inch screens are available to keep back seat passengers entertained and a 10.25-inch touchscreen is available for the front passenger, giving them access to entertainment and navigation features as well as a video USB port for playing video from a secondary source. The 10.25-inch gauge cluster is also fully digital and customizable while a head-up display is available to let you better keep your eyes on the road.
